The Abstract submission process is now closed.
Please review the following guidelines before completing the submission. A sample submission has been provided for reference. All fields are required except those that have been indicated by the word “optional” next to it. Missing or incomplete information may jeopardize the number or types of continuing education credits available to conference attendees.

Practicing perinatal educators or researchers, masters and doctoral students are all encouraged to apply.
Poster Submissions
Submissions are being accepted for poster presentations of completed research, research in progress or new program design and implementation.
Research Paper Submissions
One concurrent session (1 1/2 hours in length) has been reserved for several 20-minute oral presentations of research papers regarding childbirth and perinatal education.
Evaluation Criteria for Poster and Research Presentations
Members from the Conference Planning Committee and Education Council will evaluate presentations to be accepted and displayed at the conference. The committee will review the submissions according to the specified requirements below:
- Question is clearly stated.
- Question is significant for health care of women.
- Relationship of the questions to previous research is made clear.
- Design is described adequately.
- Population and sample are described adequately.
- Data collection procedures are appropriate.
- Analysis methods are appropriate.
- Analysis seems correct.
- Results are presented clearly.
- Conclusions are substantiated by the data.
- Application to childbirth education and/or health care of women is clearly stated.
- Future research questions/issues are clearly identified.
- Speaker responds to questions appropriately.
