As the prelude for the 50th Anniversary Mega Conference, hosted by Lamaze International and ICEA, this unique childbirth seminar is the melding of the best talents and resources from both programs.  Instructors Teri Shilling and Marilyn Hildreth use many years of experience to collaborate and develop this dynamic hybrid childbirth educator seminar.

About Your Instructors

Teri Shilling, MS, CD(DONA), IBCLC, LCCETeri Shilling
CEO and Founder of Passion for Birth.  As CEO, Teri is the Creative Energy Organizer! She is the creator of The Idea Box for the Creative and Interactive Childbirth Educator and its supplement Staying Energized. In addition to PfB Teri is also a DONA doula trainer for the Seattle Midwifery School/Bastyr U., serves as the Media Review Chair for the Journal of Perinatal Education, and the Lamaze International Development Committee Chair.  Teri is a past president of Lamaze International, a member of Skagit County Breastfeeding Coalition and REACHE.  She is a mother of two, married to Kinsey, a National Park Ranger and she calls beautiful Washington state home!

Marilyn Hildreth, RN, IBCLC, ICCE, IAT-CE-D, CD (DONA), LCCE, FACCEMarilyn Hildreth
Marilyn's professional background includes over thirty years of experience in Maternal Child Health Nursing, including supervisory, flight nurse, and staff nursing.  She currently is a doula trainer for ICEA and DONA International and serves as an instructor for Lamaze Labor Support for Nurses and the Basic Teacher Training Workshop for the International Childbirth Education Association.  Marilyn also has served as Education Chair for the International Childbirth Education Association Board of Directors.  She is an author and international speaker.  You can still find Marilyn giving eye to eye, breath to breath, and heart to heart labor support at a regional hospital in South Dakota.
